Features
Only what you need to bill correctly.
Every screen exists to get one document out of the door faster. That is the whole test for whether a feature ships — if it does not shorten the path from customer to sent PDF, it does not go in.
Gets the tax split right
Supplier state same as the place of supply? CGST and SGST. Different state? IGST. Union territories get UTGST. You pick the place of supply and the arithmetic follows.
Quote today, invoice tomorrow
Send a quotation, win the job, then turn it into a numbered tax invoice without retyping a single line.
PDFs you can send with pride
Your logo, every field Rule 46 asks for, HSN or SAC per line, the amount in words and a signature block. Share on WhatsApp, email it, or save it.
Keeps working without signal
Draft, edit and preview offline on Android, even in a basement godown. Only issuing a numbered document needs the network.
Phone and laptop, one account
Start the quotation on Android at the customer's shop, finish it in the browser back at the office. Same account, same data.
Ready for filing
Export a month as GSTR-1 JSON for the offline utility, or a flat CSV for your accountant. B2B, B2CL, B2CS, CDNR, CDNUR, HSN and DOCS.
What you can issue
Four document types, one editor.
They share a shape — your business, a customer, lines, totals, a date, a number — so learning one teaches you all four.
- Tax invoice
- The bill itself. Carries both GSTINs, the rate-wise tax split, HSN or SAC per line and a serial from the invoice series.
- Quotation
- A priced offer with no serial obligation, no tax liability and no place in your return. Convert it to an invoice when the customer says yes.
- Credit note
- Issued under Section 34 when you have overcharged, or goods come back. References the original invoice number and date, and lands in the CDNR or CDNUR table of your GSTR-1.
- Debit note
- The other direction — when the original invoice charged too little. Same referencing, same treatment in the return.
More on the conversion: turning a quotation into a tax invoice.
Also inside
The details that decide whether a bill is valid.
Credit and debit notes
Section 34 notes against an existing invoice, carrying the original document number and date, and flowing into the CDNR and CDNUR tables of your GSTR-1.
GSTIN checksum validation
A GSTIN is 15 characters ending in a check digit. We verify it as you type, which catches almost every typo — and a wrong GSTIN on a filed invoice is a real problem for your customer’s input tax credit.
Reverse charge
Mark a supply as reverse charge and the invoice shows the tax for the record while collecting only the taxable value, as the recipient is the one who pays it.
Per-line discounts, rates and cess
Different tax rates on different lines of the same bill, a discount in rupees or percent on any line, and cess where it applies.
Serials that restart on 1 April
One unbroken series per financial year per document type, capped at the 16 characters Rule 46 allows, with the number reserved on the server so two devices can never issue the same one.
Customer book and price list
Save a customer once with their GSTIN and addresses, save your items once with their HSN or SAC and rate, then build documents by picking rather than typing.
How it works
Three steps, then it's out of your hands.
- 1
Set up your business once
Name, address, logo, and a GSTIN if you have one. Two minutes, and every document after that carries your letterhead.
- 2
Build the document
Pick a customer, pull items from your saved price list, set quantities. Totals and tax move as you type.
- 3
Issue and send
One tap assigns the legal serial number and renders the PDF. WhatsApp it on the spot.
Being straight with you
What BahiSathi does not do.
Better you find this out here than three invoices in.
- No e-invoice (IRN). If your turnover is above the e-invoicing threshold, those invoices have to be reported to the IRP, and BahiSathi cannot do it for you today.
- No e-way bills. Moving goods above the threshold needs one, generated elsewhere.
- No iPhone app. The web app runs in Safari on the same account, but there is nothing to install from the App Store.
- It is not accounting software. No ledgers, no bank reconciliation, no balance sheet, no inventory. It bills customers and gives your accountant clean figures. It does not replace them.
- It does not file for you. The GSTR-1 export is a file you upload to the government utility, after checking it against your books.
Your next invoice is a minute away.
